Types of Leave:

  • Medical Leave: For illnesses requiring a doctor’s attention, a medical certificate from a registered practitioner is mandatory. The certificate should clearly state the diagnosis, duration of recommended rest, and fitness to return to college.
  • Emergency Leave: In case of unforeseen emergencies like family bereavements or accidents, immediate notification to the college administration is crucial. Supporting documentation, such as a death certificate or police report, may be required.

Students wishing to withdraw must submit a formal written application to the Principal through the Student Affairs Office. The application should state the reason for withdrawal and be accompanied by necessary supporting documents (e.g., medical certificates). Withdrawal requests will be reviewed and approved by the Principal.

  • Timely Withdrawal: Withdrawal before the commencement of classes will result in a full refund of tuition fees (excluding admission fees). A partial refund may be considered for withdrawals during the first few weeks of the semester, subject to the college’s fee refund policy. No refund will be granted for withdrawals after the specified deadline.
  • Withdrawal after Commencement of Studies: Students withdrawing after the commencement of classes will have their academic transcripts marked “Withdrawn.” They may be eligible for readmission in the future, subject to availability and fulfilling the college’s admission criteria at that time.

The college reserves the right to discharge students for disciplinary reasons, academic underperformance, or non-compliance with college rules and regulations. Disciplinary discharge will follow a due process, including a formal inquiry and an opportunity for the student to present their case.

  • Disciplinary Discharge: Students discharged for disciplinary reasons will have their academic transcripts marked “Discharged.” Re-admission to the college will not be permitted.
